I find it tedious to discuss/debate "what is No Wave?" Please go to a source like Marc Masters, Byron Coley/Thurston Moore or Weasel Walter. A friend's post (http://mog.com/ecompassrosa/blog_post/137075) has made me think of the great (now OOP??) double CD package of Sun Ra's singles. Here's a favorite track from it. By the way, Yo La Tengo do this sometimes and it appears on their rarities collection from a few years ago.
