  3. ray4389 says Yes Donnie Darko is my faveorite movie, but note that the directors cut uses a diffferent intro song that the original, which is I believe called the Killing Moon, or something on those lines.

I've read that the original Tears For Fears version was set to more upbeat music because it was meant to be ironic, a fact that is lost on the Gary Jules version.   7. ray4389 says I actually enjoy both versions, and each has it's own strong points depending on it's usage, but outside of the movie I enjoy Tears for Fears better.
