Someone I know was suggesting to me recently that specific locales and areas affect the type of music that is produced there in a very direct way. While I think that this is true to a point, I also think there are probably some significant counter-examples to this? Seattle Grunge seems to stick out in my mind...can y'all think of some others, or counter-examples to this idea?
