WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Demons

Posted about 1 year ago

So many times, and I don't know why, I try to find a reason behind certain things that will always lack a logical answer. For the first 15 years of my life I had a best friend. I can't think of a moment in that time where weren't together. We did just about everthing, and some of it was good, but most of it was pretty bad.(no exstortion or death threats just a little mayhem and desruction) It was the greatest time of my life till after I turned 15 years old and we moved to the next state. Off course we lost touch but before I left I knew there was problems especially with the history of alcohol abuse in the family. He had already started to drink the year before and not just at the occassional party. Well about 8 years later I get the phone call, the one that no one should have to get, and one you are never prepared for. He had O.D.'d on Ketamine and an assortment of other hardcore stuff. I guess the point is that you should never be afraid of helping someone fight their demons, and you should never be ashamed or afraid of getting the help you need. Peopleout there love you, and don't ever forget it. I'm not saying you should be born again or anything, but if you see it , try to help.

I had a similar experience when I was 20 but I was the one who needed help. Thankfully I had a friend who saw it for what it was and he helped me out. Who knows what happens when you part ways for the night and we go our seperate ways until seeing each other the next time. Some of that stuff is really messed up.

Morphine in conversation twice this week. Might be a sign.

My husband lost a childhood friend under the same circumstances...

Sometimes you can't help them..you just can't.  They are destructive and condemned....you just can't.
