WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Gettin' your Comicon on, or assualt on the Javitz compound

2:00 a.m. and can't sleep. Its going to be a good day for a raid. I go over battle tactics on my large screen monitor for hours till its time to wake the squad. They come double time from their sleep quarters straight to the mess hall. When all food is consumed its time to get fitted for gear and stow supplies in said vessels. Siuted up and ready to go we fall out to vehicle holding bay and immeditely we are on course to meet up with Delta squadron at the check point. All soldiers are looking well and Delta's commanding officer Master Srgt. Heilman is in high spirits as everything has stayed within the time schedual. We load up in a larger troop transport to meet up at check point two. From checkpoint two we take the long voyage up the eastern highway to compound limits.

( Soldier in good spirits, except Private Bradley. He looks a little nervous. I think he's gonna vomit)

20 clicks from drop we recieved innaccurate coordinates from intellegence and are forced to set a new way point.

Lucky it does not jeopardize the mission. We arrive at the drop point and quickly make way for our positions. We manage to penetrate the compound with ease but are met with harse opposition once inside.

After breaching the first level of security I beheld a sight like no other. The people and things I witnessed inside resembled something from the wildest immagination of man. Almost surreal.

Lost contact with other squads for a short time, only to meet up in sector-c to take cover and mend woulds.

The battle waged on but the soldiers were starting to tire. I sent in my coordinates for extraction and we fell back to a neighboring building.

After loading up on the transport we spent the long ride back joking and laughing and crying and yes even fighting over who had the most kills. A day that will live in mind forever.
