The ups and downs

Posted about 3 years ago

Being partially layed off is a bitch. Short on cash and cutting things out of your budget sucks. Although this is the first time in 10 years I haven't had to sit behind the wheel of a plow truck for hours on end freeing up ungrateful people from their half-million dollar houses.

And here's the big up side. A weekday, playing in the snow, freezing and soaking wet, sledding with the kids.

Going down is great, but after the 100th hike back up, well not as great.

Wasn't sure if he was gonna make it. "Capn' I just don't have the power!"

Of course, The Wipeout! Gnarly!!

Ya can't keep the big kids off the slopes! Notice the insane facial expression. The beedy little eyes that are set too close together. Clearly a criminal.

Looks like a great time had by all. Makes me yearn for the carefree winters of my youth. Heck with it! I'm taking the rest of the day off to go sledding, think anyone will notice?
