WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

my happy music!

Posted over 2 years ago
Everyone's got that one album or that one artist that picks them up when they're down. For a good long while, my "happy music" was George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. It's a little spiritual, introspective, and still totally rockin'. Oh yeah. A few years ago my happy music turned into Yann Tiersen's soundtrack to the movie Amelie. I had the soundtrack before I had the DVD (the movie is completely lovely, and you must see it if you haven't already). It coincided with my like of almost everything accordion. I can't help but want to dance when I listen to it! What would you say is your happy music?

  1. Kid Charming says Peter Tosh's Legalize It, and reggae in general, is good cheering-up music for me. And From Bubblegum to Sky's Me and Amy and the Two French Boys.

  3. Brett Schieber says "All Things Must Pass" is one of the finest lyrics ever written, I think and I love that entire double cd. George Harrison, Jump, the Cardigans....you have exceptional taste in music!
