Halloween, Alaska has been around for the past few years. I would describe them as feel-good, electro-acoustic pop/rock. Yeah, that. James Diers, the lead singer, and main songwriter has one of the smoothest voices in music today. The drummer, Dave King also plays with Happy Apple, and the ever bigger Bad Plus. They're not that well-known yet, but should be soon. Some people know about them because one of their songs was apparently on "The O.C." Most of them hail from the Minneapolis area. They've recorded two albums in the past few years, and are working on a new one.
