WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

this one goes out to the one i MOG

Posted over 2 years ago
Mogging about your MOG is just about as interesting as blogging about your blog. but i am doing it today despite my better judgment because i've been having MOG-O-Matic trouble and have kept mum about it for two days after all.the short of the long is that i'm not able to log in. on my laptop PC at home, MOM is rejecting my login info despite repeated attempts. it's even worse on my Mac at work, where i made the mistake of removing and then reinstalling MOM from my preference pane; now MOM is just forever trying to load.of course, there is an answer. i popped my MOG Forums cherry looking for one, and then got it by way of David Hyman who explained in an all-users mail that dear MOG got slammed by all the Facebook registrations that lately came inundating. (welcome, anyway, y'all.)so i guess i am writing my grief out after the fact, albeit the trouble hasn't gone away. here i am, posting just fine, but it really does kill me that the music showing on my widgets is kind of two days old. i'll live; just allow me my bit of blabber.Well, now, it's three o' clock in the morning and I can't even close my eyes.Three o' clock in the morning and I can't even close my eyes. Can't find my baby and I can't be satisfied.I've looked all around me and my baby can't be found.I've looked all around me, people, and my baby can't be found. You know, if I don't find my baby, people, I'm going down to the golden ground.Goodbye, everybody, I believe this is the end.Oh, goodbye, everybody, I believe this is the end.I want you to tell my baby, tell her, please, please forgive me, forgive me for my sins.

  1. mickimicki says Great song! The watermelong photo on the cover is pretty crass though... - now get some rest young lady, no MOG is worth to lose so much sleep ;-)

  2. poebegone says micki! correctamundo on the watermelon lady. i couldn't find a good enough image of Outta Season (with Tina Turner looking radiant in it) and had to settle with this questionable one above. update: MOM and i are back together. sure, i've had to reinstall twice in two days but it seems to be working again now. hooray. 3)

  3. Cody B says Sorry for yer troubles. Ike and Tina did make some real nice records in the throes of their demise. Scary album cover yes, but some excellent Led Zep covers and super heavy funk. I'm glad I was away most o' the weekend cause even now the MOS is slow, slow, slow. Being unemployed does give me time to wait though.

  4. poebegone says Cody: truly, they made some damn good stuff like River Deep, Mountain High and Bold Soul Sister on those rough days together. and then of course the slew of Come Together, Higher Ground, I Want to Take You Higher, Proud Mary, Whole Lotta Love, Nobody's Fault But Mine, so forth. hah, you're making me miss my unemployed days - utter freedom and poverty for two years, and not a piece of poetry to show for it. =D you said it: MOS is painfully slow x3 and MOM logs me in only 1/3 of the time. sigh...
