That is all. Now, carry on.

Artist:
It is no secret that I made MOG the surrogate for a support unit / social life in the last couple of years, whether or not MOG liked it. Today, at home and no longer in isolation (after maybe a decade, speaking figuratively), I started to hear the songs I was listening to in terms of myself and MOG, and they took on whole other meanings that nearly broke me down, just remembering the things that Mogging had saved me from, unknowingly. No histrionics here; it could have been any other place but it was this one.
So how about some songs for me in relation to you because it is a little too impossible to segregate me from you without insulting the undemonstrable us?
Dear MOG world,
Hold Me Down
I'm in the wind.
I want your comfort for the evening.
I need to pause and get my head.
Excuses
I memorize you.
This game of chance ends in a loss.
I just lose it to you.
Listening to the latest album by Minus the Bear, out May on Dangerbird Records, is like listening to Seventies rock radio but shiny and askew. Omni is so different from its predecessors and I have little patience for it on bad days but I kind of really like it.

i am seriously owing some mogmails. infinite sorries. soon, i promise.
Thanx poe for the tunes. XM radio plays "My Time" a lot, not sure why they wouldn't play the 2 you picked to share with us, coz I like them more than "My Time."
Remember, Grasshopper: "Have a mouth as sharp as a dagger but a heart as soft as tofu."
Its a symbiotic relationship
no big believer in the oft heard "everything happens for a reason", stumbling into MOG was/is an unexpected experience needed yet unknown. you reached out, we absorbed, and vice-versa. maybe "enlightenment" is apt, your companionship is stellar.
I couldn't just copy Jeff :)
damn. Now I have to come up with my own way to say the same thing as DMDM and Scot yet again! Ahh, screw it. Ilay, we love you. Your posts are always a welcome surprise (even if I don't always comment) and you have such a way with what you say, always taking the familiar and turning it on its head. Unless you're posting about the unfamiliar, which is even more enjoyable.
Thank you.
"whether or not MOG liked it"
i think you see the reaction above. thanks!
Always good to see you and your shares...MOG is strange for me right now,too..there's always the love, but it seems like work lately. If it weren't for peeps like those in here and you, i would be long gone.
thanks for being here. every post is like a ray of sunshine to me.
If you end up posting less because you are happier now, we will forgive you (but a note now and then to say "Hey you Moggers, I'm still quite happy' would be nice!
I'm w/Cody on this one. My relationship w/mog is tenuous at best right now. And if it weren't for faithful moggers like you my dear I'd be long gone. Mog used to be my oxygen but I just don't feel it much anymore. I haven't posted since the end of March.
Liking the tunes here by Minus The Bear. I've heard of them but haven't heard their tunes.
.....pretty much what Augusts1 said. And I'm not just being lazy, that's just pretty much how I can sum it up.
:-)
its hard, the old days of mog seem to be past and yet many of us keep coming back again and again. I think it is because of people like you see above me, people who share a love for music and dont sound like a dolt when they talk about it. Keep em coming poe, we will still be here
yes, we keep coming back. I think its because of the people, the people like you, Ilay. I'm glad MOG was your cocoon because it brought me you.
