  6. scotfree says I would love a day like that. Agree with Coppertop, that first one was very involving. BSP is very much in my park. Eno's warm jets went speeding by right in the middle.

  7. ciphermedia says Hey Poe, Not heard of Rachel's or British Sea Power, and liking them both a lot. Have been having a very introspective time myself lately - in part because of an ear infection which has made me temporarily slightly deaf in one ear. Hope you are enjoying your solitude.

  8. poebegone says dmdm, thanks. i discovered Jon J. Muth through a graphic novel called Moonshadow, for which he did just the most wondrous art. he wowed me again with panda-ful artworks for Zen Shorts. Aug, i haven't stopped listening to Tunng since the day i bought it. BSP along with Hot Chip have been the earliest highlights of my 2008. thank the heavens for fantastic music eh? AA C, Rachel's are quite possibly somewhere in my top 6 to 15 all-time favorites. "Mysterious Disappearance" is certainly among my favorite tracks in the album. Scott, hey, Jon J. Muth is from Ohio, for whatever that's worth. as i'd told you, i really think BSP is something you'd like. the album can be more cohesive but i enjoy it a hell lot. i am having a week like that. (8 Jonathan, yeah, introspection is my middle name (this week). as i was saying above, Do You Like Rock Music? has its flaws but it's gorgeous. i love everything by Rachel's (post-rock meets Michael Nyman meets classical) but for me nothing beats the debut album Handwriting. bet you could make some real severe electronica while having ear infection - how very Van Gogh! hope you're enjoying yours, too.
