album #3, aka 0898, by The Beautiful South takes the first beating. released in '92 out of GO! Discs. for those who know, it's the one that bruised the ego of all 36D's out there. for those who don't, lotsa mog love to be found in their lounge [here]. (btw, the track on post was one i posted before, pre-player days.)The Housemartins's Heaton and Hemingway left their widely known band in the late '80s to start again. how's that for BDSM? trilly-voiced Briana Corrigan joined them for the first three albums then left to pursue a solo career that wouldn't ever take off. bring on the heartache.this post has been inspired by two fellow moggers's posts from last night: PIMP's FUCK YOU MOG post, to which i dedicate the song Old Red Eyes Is Back (video on post), and fisty's Funky Foot Friday post, to which i dedicate the song Bell Bottomed Tear (video on comments).last but not least, dedications go to every single time we persevere to upload and/or stream a song out here. hit it where it hurts, brothahs and sistahs.
