Dear deadmandeadman, poebegone isn't feeling very transcendental because a surreal chance encounter fucked with her Zen this week. It was not unlike losing one's nerve right when a mere step away from heaven but this is not to say she did not take time ruminating during the long way back down. She was going to smolder quietly, too, but here in MOG, we all feed off each other's fire.
And now for something really off the cuff...
We hope to stumble in front of not just anyone but those who would throw their hands out and slap us silly as if to offer that shame is bearable. This is a lie and they will burn in hell for telling it in exchange for the few seconds when our landing depends entirely upon them. It's that instant in a descent, just before lips crack, a jaw breaks and the mouth spits blood out, it's that instant when we finally take things for what they are and defer to being rescued.
