If you ever find the fastest way out of town, whistle-stop breakfast's on me. The hours, however, shall be divided equitably by playlist and be sure to pick out songs like you're begging to stay breathing. Bigger baggage gets first dibs.
"Don't ask me what it is or where to go because I don't know."
If you ever have the loudest song to which to sing along, we'll split gas money. Rip through this stillness with someone else's madness because the epic tales I like to tell are old. My laughter's even older. Redder eyes gets to crash.
"Letting go just a little bit 'til it all spills out the side of the road."

"MP3 streams temporarily disabled....sorry for the inconvienience" Hmmmm....new one on me, MOG...guess we'll check back later today :-)
...The evil MOG spirits are holding your music hostage. Ahhh, but its that delightful prose, the thought amazing processes of our own MOG philosopher, that offers the most reward. I look forward to these posts.....and I'm never disappointed.
first of all...
that said, it's hard to get out of town anymore...all the metro/cityscapes blend into a seamless sheet of concrete. the few stretches of woodland that exist give no pause for contemplation of freer spaces. this is both physical and metphorical. so, then there is music(like these) to take us to the outskirts.
your deep dark pic reminds me...we have a tradition...if the (usually) tornado warning sirens blare, we do not head to protective shelter...we pile in the car to see what's up. and usually wind up with a grease-burger to boot.
FTR the album you have listed for the Catherine Wheel song is actually a song off their album 'Happy Days'. The song you have uploaded is off their compilation album 'Like Cats & Dogs'. I adore CW!
I'm getting the same mp3 message from mog. That's a new feature I've not seen before.
SCOTT thx for posting those vids since we are having an mp3 mog drought.
That rocks in a mellow kinda way...
it says there are mp3 streaming problems. I'll check back
Thank you, everyone, for stopping by to comment / read / Mog up / recoil / etc. while mp3 streaming's down. I appreciate it.
GR, long time no see your avatar. ;d So it's MOG! I surely thought it was the internet cafe, and I surely thought I brought it on because the other day I tried repeatedly, and failingly, to stream songs in Trusteds' posts. Pffft.
Jeff, strangely enough, after posting this I found a newish post of Cody's about car chases that also linked back to a post of yours about cars. What all those mean, of course, is that 3 out of every 10 Moggers like to post about driving right around the weekend. Mwahahah.
Scott, nicely put, and funny, too. Believe me, "pil(ing) in the car to see what's up" instead of fleeing disasters is a worldwide phenomenon. The same goes for urban sprawl. I love clean-tasting food but not in roadside diner type places where, if the burger ain't greasy, it just ain't right.
Aug, aw look who's the Cathclopedia! (Although if we look to the right-hand side, inrumford is the CW Champ Mogger. ;D) Thanks for sharing the knowledge, pink linkie. I will only add that the Judy Staring at the Sun EP (where the above version's from) is a 4-track promo disc released the year after Happy Days, and how wonderful that MOG's got it in their database. Ray, mellow rock, aye? I suppose it is!
QP, a very mysterious mp3 streaming problem... {:
Well I stand corrected then!
Aug dear, corrected schmorrected! your info was absolutely right and i should try to remember to talk a little about the posted music at least. :D
But your info was also correct. Just shows there's more ways to skin a cat!
