It's been over two years since we last heard from bluesy indie rockers Alberta Cross, but the band is finally back to give us an appetizer as we continue to wait for their proper follow-up to 2009's 'Broken Side of Time.' The just-released 'Rolling Thunder' EP catches the band tweaking their sound, a transitional effort that shows traces of everything from arena rock to new wave, which ought to get everyone excited about what is sure to be a breakthrough LP in the pipeline. To celebrate the EP's release, frontman Petter Ericson Stakee gave MOG an exclusive playlist of "real" songs by Curtis Mayfield, Neil Young, and more.
