Hmm, that should be Polite Dance Song at 6, and I prefer Dancefloor Destroyer's album version for 17. Anyway, please enjoy.
I'm NOT dancing.....
;)
ok then, I'm sitting very still in my chair...
I have been at home since Sunday Midday with a stomach virus. Ok... that does not explain it nearly enough...
i have been at home, with two healthy kids age 2 and age 1, and having to take them to day care Monday and Tuesday and pick them up too, while sleeping in the spare bedroom, and the worlds most uncomfortable matress because my wife also had the stomach virus, and even tho i had the worst of it with the D and the Puke, somehow, I am the martyr, and she is the princess.........
So to be crawling out of this nightmare of a 3 day hell, and having put the kids to bed, and deciding tommorow I must return to work, I sit here, feeling like I have been beaten to death with a thousand pillows, my throat still soar, my voice still completely gone (Acid is a terrible thing), worn out and exausted, but unable to sleep due to the fact thats all i have pretty much done during the day and prayed for at night................I pick this playlist.
I honestly can not put my head around it. I think its music that is difficult to dance too, but yet feels like dance music, but then again, Tom Waits was never dance music...
Its like a car wreck, I know I don't want to listen, but I can't help but wait for the next tune.... I feel like arse....
oh then, I'm still sitting very still in my chair...just a little more nauseous...
Update, woke this AM, feeling better, stomach still..."Sour", but thats probably because I am finally putting something into it... and then, whatya know, the 1 year old exploded last night, and is dehydrated and miserable.....
Day 4... still dont feel like dancing
Neill, as you shouldn't. (;
Scott, I was going for a stoical rather than nauseating effect but okay then...
Ghost, no kidding, I've been babysitting my sister's three boys, ages 2, 4, 12, in the last two months. This seems nothing out of the ordinary until I add that I don't think I've ever in my life had anything to do at all with any little kid until these months (and only because I had to, at first). Hang in there.
I have zero strength / energy / tolerance for dancing these days. And I seriously meant for the above to be songs to _not_ dance to.
Hate that, spell checked a comment in word, then came back and put it on the wrong thread....
Ack! That's gotta suck. In any case, nothing you've said here so far incriminates you unnecessarily. (:
