The Manhattans "Shinning Star" is the song I had the pleasure of picking for my first dance with my wife.
There is a cover out there by the Gratefull Dead that last like 20 mins, it is amazing to say the least, and I don't even like the Dead.
And I just noticed it did not save my order preference, spent a fair amount of time working that out for good flow. The first 6 songs are in order.. after that it goes alphabetically since I was running down my iPod songs finding them here at work.
An excellent stockpile o' soul it is.
Thank you, I wish I had the time to truely go deep on some stuff, but looking at my collection I tend to scratch the surface on alot of different genre's. Some people (like yourself) have wound up being very deep in their taste and knowledge.
I suppose it comes from all of those years of bartending, i just needed what the crowd would recognize and want to stay around to hear. And my taste sort of went that way as well.
Shame really, I probably am missing alot of good stuff out there, but where would one even begin.

George Benson "On Broadway" not on MOG as a playable song. I would hate to be the guy in charge of tracking down all of the songs that slipped through the licensing loopholes on this launch. Alot to do... alot to do. But Turkey first!
