I actually saw Jazzy Jeff play one time back then..he was very,very good before his acting career kicked in..although the mixes he did for BBE (Barely Breaking Even) in this decade aren't too shabby..

For all lovers of hip-hop I highly recommend downloading the free mixes by Brooklyn's DJ collective The Rub. They made one mix for each year in hip-hop from 1979 to 1998 and beyond. It will amaze you how many of the rhymes from the early years have been copied by rappers in the late 80s and 90s! I recommend starting with 1979 and working your way up. Really good stuff.
