Synths in the Seventies

This is an unapologetic list of some nice tracks that used synthesizers well in the '70's. I've included songs from Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, David Bowie and Gary Numan. Each artist's song in the first set predates his song in the second set. Also, the first set is more instrumental than the second. These four musicians (and their songs in this playlist) are intertiwned in so many ways that it's not worth going into here. You could dive deeper into any album on this playlist; I just picked songs that I liked that were probably less well-known than the hits. And just to cap things off, I added the long version of Autobahn to the end, because it was far more influential than we realized at the time, and it's actually a nice little song.
