love this
I'm managing a hit rate of about 40-50% in terms of track location, pretty much as expected.
Trouble is, the tunes themselves stop and pay a visit to the Titanic on the way across the Atlantic - only play for 3-4 seconds at a time here, which can make a whole playlist a rather frustrating experience.
Yeah, I'm getting somewhere around that percentage..I don't know how the system compares overall to Rhapsody (or if it is exactly the same), but it feels like there is more stuff now.
Biggest difficulty for me seems to be the absence of UK/European licensing; this was always the case with Rhapsody, which was never licensed in the UK, but it seems to operate to restrict posting options compared to the "old" MOG, where you could take the risk and post a tune ripped from your own vinyl, by a long-dead singer on a label that went bust when LBJ was in the White House
There is a ton of Blues and Jazz..I saw a few of the Trojan Boxes. How's the rest of Reggae?
Cody, this is a wonderful playlist. You picked gem after gem.
Why thank you Mr.Spike..nice to see you in the VIP.
i seem to be having better luck than you guys with song selections, although maybe it's because my mindset is in a different place.....kind of what you said the other day about "expectations" Cody. i'm MUCH happier with what i'm getting here than the other sources you guys are talking about and although i get periodic dropouts during "playback", it seems to be more solid in LA than where you are, B. but i am definitely adapting with a bit of an "it is what it is" mentality. even if i get an artist i'm looking for, i don't always get the songs i want. that's going to improve day to day, probably NEVER getting everything we want but pretty damned good. i can't count the times that, often for work purposes, i've needed to hear something and there it was.
True indeed Robin.."you can't have everything..where would you put it"(Stephen Wright)
and there he is!!!

Maybe you can have everything?
Ok, I have made a "Play List" with my new found permissions. Are we allowed to announce them in a post yet? or do we simply toss them on the pile to be discovered via the play list section?
Regardless, the only people who can see this post, are BETA users.
So HERE is my first of many play list. Entitled 70's AM Gold.
sorry for hijacking the thread

hehe maybee its Mozilla Firefox then, but the Play button stays grayed out for me.
But You are on point with the humor today I will give you that Robin.
Just to bring it all back home..Every song on here, though originally recorded pre-war as been redone in the R n'Roll era.
Pretty Polly-Nirvana
When The Levee Breaks-Zeppelin
Railroad Bill-Lonnie Donegan
Bull Doze Blues-Canned Heat
Didn't It Rain-Pat Boone
Rag Mama Rag-The Band
etc,etc
This is quintessential Blues!!
Sure was alot of Blind folks in music back then.....
That was about all blind folks could do...if they couldn't work in the fields, music was one of very few options.
Ooh, I am about to dig into Senor Cody's realm of playlists, with this excellent thing as my choice of first. (I won't be able to listen but I sure can still investigate.)
it's a shame it ain't aural for you...hope that changes soon.
Owfff, I know MOG's working on getting the U.K. or something to have All Access but I think I'm pretty much the only super active Mogger from Asia (and even then, my online time is limited temporarily). Anyway, though, while there's life, there's hope. ;D
Added new fave Ida Cox.
aww i can't believe i EMCD'd MOG's very own Cody B. i will take it, frame it, and hang it on my wall. ;d
hah..don't be so coy. Your crates are deep kid:)
perfection in a playlist
Grazie, Mr. VV.
Great List!
Thanks rick, hard to believe it has been almost a year with the MOG All Access
