Pushing pop in a new direction can be a tall order, but it looks like New York singer-songwriter Madison is up to the task. On 'The Noise Some People Make,' her new EP released via her own G Records, Madison is immediately fusing her love of pop music with a smorgasbord of other genres, with touches of indie rock, electronica, and the avant-garde throughout. What's more, it's only the beginning, as her just-released EP is only the start of a four EP project.
