Ron Wood is now primarily thought of as a Rolling Stone. But he has a great new solo album out called "I Feel Like Playing" and it's about the best work he's done since "I've Got My Own Album To Do" which was quite a while back. To celebrate the release of the new album I've put together this playlist which features all the guest appearances I could find on MOG going back to about 1964. Songs I couldn't find on MOG I looked for on Youtube and what I found there I included as videos. There were a couple of tracks I'd have like to included (Ron with The Band from "The Last Waltz" playing "I Shall Be Released" and on the Keith Richards single of "Run Rudolph Run" ) that I just couldn't find. But over all this is pretty complete and almost in chronological order (except for the videos.) Woody's contributed to a bunch of great music through the years and the diversity of artists is impressive. I purposely left out the solo stuff and The Rolling Stones to focus on his guest spots. Probably included too much Rod Stewart but it's stuff I dig and hope you will too.
