Quite a transition in music during this period on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean with a strong period of both popular and rock music coming from Great Britain. The Beatles and Dave Clark Five are two obvious omissions due to their absence from the MOG library. The Beatles 'Love Me Do' was released in the U.S. in 1964 along with 'I Want to Hold Your Hand', 'Can't Buy Me Love', 'She Loves You' and others. The Dave Clark Five's followed The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show and charted hits like 'Bits and Pieces', 'Glad All Over', and 'Because' in 1964. I'm sure some songs will jog some memories ...
