1970 marked a lot of endings in music. DIana Ross and The Supremes had their last performance togeter, Simon and Garfunkle recorded their last album together, and The Beatles officially broke up. Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin dieded from overdoses. The Vietnam war sees the My Lai massacre and invasion of Cambodia, and closer to home, the Kent State shootings. A few of the songs from the Billboard list are not available from Mog with the original artists, probably because of license issues. In these cases, I have used other artists who has recorded the song. A couple of songs are completely missing, as I could find no alternative recordings.
