It's a toss up. Aretha covering Eleanor Rigby or Wes Montgomery
I might have had to go with Wes. Quite a solid list though!
I hadn't heard Wes Montgomery's version before - thanks so much for sharing! It's very cool.
Stevie tears it up
I'm curious as to why this list wasn't bigger. After all, Our Lady Peace did an amazing cover of Tomorrow Never Knows for the soundtrack for The Craft and Type O Negative did a very heavy mashup of Day Tripper and I Want You (She's So Heavy). Maybe I'll just have to make my own.
there was a documentary made in the 70's - All This and WWII. the soundtrack was all Beatles covers. I think Elton John's "Lucy In the Sky" came from here, Rod Stewart did a good version of "Get Back", and I remember Peter Gabriel doing "Strawberry Fields" - maybe his first solo recording.
Thanks for the feedback. I will add some more songs. I didn't know so many people were going to listen - so I just threw it together.
Thanks for listening to my critique Kellsbells. It's nice to see there are some Beatles fans out there that are dedicated enough to their legacy to put together something like this. I think that if you added onto this playlist or just made a series of playlists from this idea that both the Mog and Beatles communities would love it. Keep on Moggin'! :)

For the next version please consider Bing Crosby singing "Hey Jude".
