If you haven't heard of Dutch rockers De Staat yet, it's about time you got prepared. Creating a sound that fits in nicely with rock revivalists like the Black Keys, the band has an extra bit of funkiness and swagger that sets them apart in a crowded landscape, something we discovered while listening to their excellent new 'Habibi' EP, out this week.
