After numerous lineup and sound changes, it looks as though the Smashing Pumpkins' second coming has truly arrived this week with the release of 'Oceania,' their ninth album. The legendary alt-rockers sound more than revitalized, and bassist Nicole Fiorentino plays a large part in that. To celebrate the album's release, Florentino provided MOG with an exclusive playlist of her favorite tracks by Cat Power, Joy Division, Edith Piaf, Fiona Apple, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, Loretta Lynn, My Bloody Valentine, Neko Case, Nirvana, and more. In her own words these are "Songs that are on every day (essentially) at my house. This playlist represents the balance I try to attain every day in my life."
