This song really tugged at the ole' heart strings when I heard it. It could be classified as a "love song" I suppose, but not the mushy "you are my lover, my life, my heart will go on yadda yadda. Its about loving your Dad even though you disappoint and hurt him and he does the same to you. I found it very fitting for my current situation, and just an all around original song topic which is not easy to find lately. Not to mention Lex Lands' whole album "Orange Days on Lemon Street" is a killer, original, well thought out gem of music. Its the only new music that I have been excited about as of late.
