Leaving for a year

Posted over 5 years ago
On Monday morning I will be leaving for Germany to work as an au pair for a year. I was thinking it would be extremely cool if I had some penpals to write to while I'm there. Sooo, anyone interested?

  3. Dale says Forget penpals, it's all about MOGpals. Unless they don't have Internet access where you're working, then that'd be a bummer.

  4. pinktomatosoup says Mog pals are great; however, there's something to be said for getting a handwritten letter in the mail. It makes all the bills, junk, and other unwanted letters seem non-existent for a bit. Besides, you can't send col German knickknack via the internet. Try as you might, they just wont fit through the ethernet cord.

  8. Neill says Oh right, in western Germany. Best Germany cities to visit are Berlin and Hamburg, but you are closer to Amsterdam in Holland which is a real party city. You'll have a good time...
