Indie-Rock's Finest Set To Appear In New Malkmus Video

The Cribs' Gary Jarman. Weezer's Brian Bell. Modest Mouse's Joe Plummer. Girl Talk aka Gregg Gills. Ratatat. This may sound like the coolest tea ever, but it's actually the all-star cast set to appear in the new Stephen Malkmus and the Jick's video for "Gardenia."

The track, fresh off this spring's Real Emotional Trash, is directed by Portland-based film maker Daniel Wood and features the aforementioned names lip-synching and hammering away on air guitars. The video, which will hit the net sometime next week, debuted last night for the likes of members of Spoon and Sleater-Kinney. Malkmus is currently on tour promoting the new album. More here.
