Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Posted over 2 years ago
I had the sudden urge to listen to Thirty-Three while I was at work today. And so when I came home,I put it on,and it was just as great as I remembered it.This album reminds of being in Grade 9. It reminds me of sunny days, and good friends, and just, a time when things were, different. Not good, not bad, just different. It reminds me of long walks, and farewell and goodnights, and losing people, and meeting people. This album meant a lot to me, it meant so much back then,it still means a lot.I love Mellon Collie days - which is funny, because my Mellon Collie days are never very mellon collie.I'm glad I've fallen in love with it again.

  4. lemontwist says I definitely dig Mellon Collie, listened to it a lot in middle and high school with my (ex) boyfriend. Though listening to it now, it sort of annoys me how much fluff is on the album. I like Siamese Dream and Gish best.

  5. Augusts1 says I was seriously addicted to that cd when I bought it. It was my first SP cd. "Bullet w/Butterfly Wings" was the main reason I bought it but fell in love w/the entire work. Awesome cd & now you've inspired me to listen to it again cause I've not heard it for a very long time.
