Nightswimming by REM has got to be the most beautiful pop song ever written. It's absolutely achingly beautiful. Having just turned 30, listening to music has become sort of like chasing the rock and roll dragon, so when a song truly moves me it's that much more special. This song never fails to strike a chord within me. Beautiful music, beautiful words, beautiful melody. What's strage is that I'm not even a big REM fan. But they created something timeless here.
