Got this album recently 'cause I was on a New York Dolls kick. It's a lot of fun, and there's so much variety to it. While the Dolls were a step forward in the way rock would transform, Thunders' solo album is like a tour through styles that go back to the 50's. 'Great Big Kiss' is like a rock-musical that resembles stuff from
Grease. 'London Boys' is a take-off of Sex Pistols songs. There really aren't any albums that sound like this nowadays, which may or may not be related to the fact that I rarely buy any new ones.
