WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Eddie Vedder

For those who loved Pearl Jam at various times during their mercurial musical career - Eddie Vedder's solo effort, rife with allusions to his work with Neil Young, replete with a beautiful the simple sound heard at times beginning with No Code, with his distinct vibrato is brilliant in my opinion. I am usually "last to the party" but I happened to see Into the Wild and thought the soundtrack sounded okay and then on second listening, Vedder has found his way back onto my iPod. 75% of the album is uninterruptedly phenomenal which a rare thing for me to say these days... I haven't listened to Pearl Jam in years and I don't like all of it but I think Vedder took a right turn hooking up with Young and this album is more that direction...
