where did you find music before the webernet?

i remember setting my VCR to tape 120 Minutes on MTV back in 1988 to find the cool tunes. the next day was like christmas as i would fast forward thru the shit-songs and commercials to get to the good stuff. i remember Black Flag and Sonic Youth. that was the good ol' days...

  3. Sureshot says I too used to tape 120 Minutes religiously. I Still have those tapes today. John Peel on radio and Jools Holland's live show on tv were my other major addictions.
