...and it's *great*.OK,not really.It's actually one of the most bubble gum pop'y drones I've heard in awhile.Is there some cosmic law that says actors (even good ones) have to be horrible musicians/songwriters?Am I missing something?Can anyone think of an actor gone rock star and it actually worked?

Jess Horrible says Is it really lame? That's totally too bad. I had high hopes for her. Uh... there's always Clint Eastwood's album of country crooner songs.

celtichris says I like Jack Black ... I mean, sometimes Tenacious D is a little over the top. But sometimes their parodies are spot-on and he's actually a decent singer/musician. And it seems more like a hobby gone awry than a second career.

Sorry,but IMHO it just did'nt work out. celticchris - I *love* Jack Black and the D.But I think Jack was musician first,then went actor.Seems like that direction seems to work OK....i.e.Mos Def.

celtichris says Yeah, true enough, I think you're right, even if Tenacious D didn't catch on till after he was a movie star. And I can think of a bunch of examples of musicians-turned-actors where it actually worked out, so fair 'nuff. Can't think of any successful examples the other direction.

lemontwist says I actually kinda dig her music... I mean, no, it's not fantastic, it's not new, but most rock isn't really unique these days. I just take it for what it is and enjoy it.
