3 songs you could NEVER live without...

You're stuck on a desert island with all the food and water you can stand, along with a fisher price tape player, boxes of long lasting batteries, and a 30 minute tape which holds the 3 greatest songs you've heard that you would want to be with you on this island for the rest of your life. What three songs would it be?

I'd go with...

1. Beck- Little One
2. Underworld- Cups
3. The Chemical Brothers- Elekrobank

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park's Gory at the Quarry!!!

For all you Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia people out there, if you haven't made plans for Halloween yet, PLEASE check out www.nlqp.com, and the Gory at the Quarry festival. It's probably going to be the last REALLY big outdoor camping festival of the season due to cold weather etc. So seriously, if you're looking to camp, party your fucking ass off, costume party, great bands, TONS OF REGGAE AND DUB, pumpkin carving contests, BONFIRES, chili-cook-off and all that jazz, then come out to Ohio! Just check out the pictures from last year's show to see how crazy everyone gets. We're talking 5,000 people camping on a private camp ground for a halloween party you'll never forget. Trust me.

I just bought this Devo costume for a party at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park on the 28th. Who would of thought that my hometown musical legends would have their own costume some day? This is f'n great.

Interested in bit torrent, or not?

Here are my easy steps to starting bit torrent downloads. If you think you're "above" it, then please ignore post. :)

1. Go to www.bitcomet.com and download the program they offer. It's free and small. Install this onto your computer.

2. UN-install bearshare, kazaa, limewire etc (Though not necessary, they just suck compared to downloading via bit torrent)

3. Go to websites like these: www.torrentspy.com www.piratebay.org, www.torrentreactor.net, www.torrentbox.com and search for files, music, games, movies etc. that you want. Download the tiny torrent file from these websites to your desktop.

4. Double-click the file that you downloaded from the websites. If you have Bitcomet installed correctly, you should see the program open once you double click the file on your desktop. The program will then show you how much you are downloading, IF you are downloading, and how many people are seeding that file etc.

5. When Bitcomet says the download is 100%, then go to My Computer icon on your desktop or through start menu, and search through Program Files until you find BitComet folder. In here is a "downloads" folder that contains the full file/s that you downloaded. I would make a shortcut for this folder onto your desktop by right clicking the folder and selecting "create shortcut" option. (Just makes it easier.)

6. EXTRA INFO: Some files will be "zipped" into a .RAR extension. It is just a way to condense larger files. In the case that this happens. Google search WINRAR and download the trial version of Winrar. It too is a small program. Once you have installed that program, any files that have a .rar extension, you can right-click and "EXTRACT" them to whichever folder you were in.

If you follow these steps, you should have no trouble getting BitComet to work for you, it's super easy once you see it work for the first time.
