MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:
Album:

I was 13 when I heard this album while riding around with my older brother in his beat up blue Chevy Blazier. I didn't know what the hell it was and didn't comprehend the excitment that my brother had for this band. I would steal this tape from him and listen to it on occasion on the school bus to better understand what the hell this what about.

Around 17, I bought the CD, listened to it, loved the music, just the music though it's all I understood at the time...it was loud, fast and angry. I had the CD stolen along w/ all my other CD's out of my car, so that was the end of that.

At 22, I bought the album again. I understand it all now and rank Avail as one of the best punk rock bands of all time, if not the best. When no one is at home, I crank this album up and try to recreate the emotion and anger that was put into this record and reflect on what a great master piece this really is

"what the hell are you fighting for? I hope it's something that you really believe in because someone got a fist in their face because you're feeling weak and your causing all these problems that nobody needs!" Nameless - Avail
