The Charlatans UK popped back into my consciousness just the other day when I swear I heard a cover of You're Not Very Well while I was in Sephora getting lipstick. Can't figure out who the cover artist was tho. According to them they played their best gig in years a coupla weeks ago! What a difference a decade makes, they seem to have rediscovered a a bit more of a power-poppy sound these days compared to Some Friendly. Course if you live pretty much anywhere but the US you can catch one of their shows in the next couple of months.
