A Musical Venting

Posted over 3 years ago

I do believe in Karma. But I am just disgusted, worried and frustrated about this economic plight we are in. Too many people are truly suffering and not enough of those with a hand in creating this crisis are going to be subjected to any consequences, it seems. So naturally, my mind turns toward revenge, and being a good Mogster, to songs about vengeance. It helps for about 5 minutes. I like this tune from the Stone Roses. It sounds pretty, but it's pretty angry. Feel free to join in.

I sometimes feel I am on the frontlines, I get to see the kids who have to deal with this on a daily basis. At our school we have to have free breakfasts as well as free lunches just so the kids can have something to eat.

My maths aren't that developed, but when I add $700billion and then about $300billion for Iraq, and then divide it by 360million Americans, I get a very large number that the current Administration has decided those 360million will pay.

I am a mathematics marvel (in the sense that math are like hieroglyphics to me), but Jonh's math seem about right to me :(((

She Wants Revenge is a band that should go as a whole.

As far as songs go, I always liked Garbage's As Heaven Is Wide. Hope it's not too dark and brutal for anybody:

Well, you picked a great band to exact your revenge with. Good thing you didn't pick the song Shoot You Down or the Secret Service would be on the way.

Love the weiner dog in your avatar. I have two so I am partial to them.

Rawk: I see the same things at my school altho I have a school equally split into haves and have-nots. It's heart-breaking that some children get the only decent meal they'll get all week at school (and it's far from "decent" actually.)

Jonh: I saw some numbers as well, but they didn't include the war spending, so I bet your number s a lot higher. sigh. No, GRRR!

Anna: SO FIERCE! I love Garbage! Not too dark or brutal for my current state f mind!

Marigold: A weiner-dog lover! yay! I adore my girl, and want to get a sister or brother for her when she gets a bit older...is it a lot more difficult with 2? Or have you always had yours together?
