Danny Goldberg in a terrific interview on Sound Opinions discusses his new book Bumping Into Geniuses & why his career as a bonafide rock critic was so brief.
"When it came to writing... I was a guy who just wanted to enthuse about people, I wasn't really a good critic, but that same quality made me a pretty good PR guy."
I'll say! Go have a listen, he talks candidly and of course not too critically about lots of musicians...like: Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love and John Bonham!
