Wait a minute. I thought genomes were these. Or these, maybe. But the creators of Pandora combine science and music to make an online radio station. All I know is they picked this song by the band Mint for me based on other songs I like and it turns out I tend to enjoy music that has these attributes:
electric rock instrumentation
punk influences
a subtle use of vocal harmony
major key tonality
electric guitar riffs
Who knew? You can find out about The Music Genome Project if you want to analyze the hell out of your music preferences. I think it's cool and would make me sound smart if I could remember it all.
