and i do not know more that just this...but did you know that poi dog pondering got their start in Hawaii? And apparently there've been a slew of bands who went to Hawaii to find an appreciative audience? And there's even a punk rock museum on the Beautiful Island that I've sadly never been to! A very fun informative read at metafilter.

i was happier when I thought they was an actually museum...but it's just a website! Wah! but a good one. and I am glad you are happy!
Yawn. Yep. we got 'lectrcity, computers made of real metal, and broadband Internet access. Since Hawai'i is far from everywhere, we have to work a bit harder at staying modern with websites and such. (Now if the two gas giants would cut us a break, a gallon of unleaded wouldn't be North of $4.50 a gallon!)

actually wahiawa...when I was in grad schol I found out that hawaiian schools were the most sophisticated in their uses of technology with their teachers and students. and my condolescences on the gas situation...but why can't you ride your surfboard everywhere? (yuk, yuk!)
