   dermahrk says Sounds great. I love the Smithereens. So exactly where in CT was this festival? I'm asking because I'm currently on an assignment near Stamford and starting to search for music venues / music stores, etc.

   ongoingly says Hey Dermahrk, Milford is a city on the water north of Stamford about 30 minutes or so. But Stamford is a pretty fun city music/entertainment-wise, so you may not have to travel far. Below are links to some venues etc. that you might enjoy. I also have some places listed on my mog page that are fairly local to Stamford, but more to the west...closer to where I live in Danbury CT.    dermahrk says Connecticut is a state north of New York on the east coast. I think - geographically disadvantaged, here. Ongoingly, thank you for the links. I checked both out and they should prove useful. One of the clubs is even in Norwalk, where I am staying and working! So, what's the age of your students?

   ongoingly says Thanks GC! I really like living here-even with the brrrr winters! Dermahrk..you are probably more geographically astute than I am. you are correct about CT placement! Norwalk is a pretty hip-happening place and you should have fun poking around South Norwalk..there is a substantial nightlife there. My students(who will soon ascend upon me!) are tiny-Kindergarten thru 5th grade!
