Yes its true in 2009 a new Green Day Album will come out. This is their first record and will be their first tour since "American Idiot" No release dates are set but they have just recently did an interview with Alternative Press Magazine. This is going to be their first album with a new producer Butch Vig who has worked on the following albums Nirvana "Nevermind" Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream" Sonic Youth "Dirty" just to name a few. In the past they have worked with Rob Cavallo who has been producing their albums since there infamous hit "dookie"

Hopefull the album drops early 2009.
