Artist: Album: Track:

Last summer, 24th of July 2007. I had the chance to attend a White Stripes concert at the Madison Square Garden in NYC, and I have to tell I was amazed. Even if I knew the quality of musicians they are, I never expected to see a show like that, the scenario, the lights, the people, the music, everything about that show was unbelievable. I couldn't sing along all the songs from the new album, because I bought it just three days before the concert, but I had the hell of a time!

In a moment, when Jack & Meg were playing, I closed my eyes for a few minutes and the sensation was even bigger, it felt like a five member band, I could really pay attention to all those details you rarely pay attention to, and suddenly opened my eyes again and saw those two giants, dressed all in red sweating 'till the last drop just to give to their fans an unforgettable show, rocking the garden.

From that moment I knew why I like so much that band, they are really passionate about everything they do and that makes even more passionate fans. They leave their souls on the stage, just for us. THANK YOU

Keep On Rockin' White Stripes!

The White Stripes are just one of those epic classics.
it sure feels as if they can do no wrong & they continue to make incredible, original music.

i'm glad that Jack White has continued to work with Meg, even after forming The Raconteurs (especially since Broken Boy Soldiers left much to be desired)....but he has proven that even after that deflated album, he can comeback harder with Consolers of the Lonely.

i've never been fortunate enough to go to a show of theirs, but i will definitely make the extra effort after reading this. :).

Hey, welcome to the MOG.  Think you'll like it here.  Impressive first post, keep those red buttons coming.  Never seen 'em, but always figured they'd be a great show.
