La Deuxieme Nouvelle Vague

I guess their second album just came out, because I bought it at Hear Music, and it wouldn't scan or show up in their database, so I had to listen to the album the old-fashioned way, with a CD player and not using Hear Music cool little music sampling session.Bande a Part is Nouvelle Vague's second album, and continues its downtempo exploration of punk and new-wave hits and little known gems of the eighties.   1. Diapason Normal says The cover of Bela Lugosi's Dead is great, I like it better than the Bauhaus original. Actually, I like the most of Nouvelle Vauge's covers more than the originals.

  2. oO says Actually, because the arrangements were so close to the original, Bela Lugosi's Dead was my least favorite. I really enjoyed Ever Fallen in Love and Dancing With Myself, because they were significantly different from the originals. All in all, the first album was probably better, but the second round off the offering. Looking forward to see them in concert in LA, bought tickets.
