Man that digital collection list doesnt define my musical tastes. I only have a 20 gig drive in my laptop and most of my music is on vinyl so.....

Here is another venture into the unique and distinctive world of sound created by The Ventures. Once again the talented young menwho were responsible for the hit Walk-Don't Run, treat the listener to the imaginative, unusual sounds which started them on the road to stardom. This is a new collection of tunes which serve to accent the tallents of Bob Bogle, Don Wilson, Nokie Edwards and Howie Johnson. Bob and Don, co-leaders of the group,attribute the dominate rhythmic feeling of The Venturesto the fact thatthey first performed as a duo,without drums or bass. Since they played for dances and had to maintain a strong rythm,they aquired the happy faculty of "swinging" all by themselves. When the bass guitar and drums were later added,Bob and Don found no reason to break the swinging habit. As a consequence the strong rhythmicdrive(an essential ingredient of the sound of The Ventures) is present in virtually every tune. In addition to the rhythym, however a big factor is the imaginative arrangements which the boys work out. They are constantly experimenting with new sounds,effects and ideas. They work out the intricate arrangements ahead of time and then carry the experimentation right into the recording studio where they continue to make improvements. As a result, each selection is a fresh experience in sound and music. Whatever the reasons, the sound of The Ventures is an exciting one, and this album will make an excellent contribution to your dancing and listening pleasure.

love it i was addicted to the ventures at like 7 years old my dad told me. i liberated his lp's i still love them to this day
SoFar the only downfall of the MOG is that it can only dig into your digital collection on your local machine. I have numeroud hard drives full of music and then there is the Vinyl and Reel to Reel which are the formats I listen to the most. So In light of this fact I will just post what I am listening to right here in the posts Swell right? Good Here it goes.

ive been seeing an increasing number of members with the same complaints as you.
Only solution would be importing the vinyls to mp3 form...

i don't think anyone's digital music collection defines them. that would be sad.
i know, the whole vinyl to computer thing is a drag to, i use a program, but it's not the best, i guess the records were just meant to stay plastic!
