so yesterday this became my new favorite band of the week. they are crystal castles. they are playing at neighborhood festival in LA next weekend. the faint and mickey avalon will be there too. it sounds fun. i might go. i probably will. you should too. love them, because i do.

this was the last song bright eyes played my first time seeing him live. it was at least a few years ago (right after lifted was released) at the henry fonda theatre in los angeles. i could not count the number of musicians (or friends) he had on stage, but it was hands down the most amazing concert experience i had ever had and still get chills every time i hear this song.
