Opie Hicks and The Elements @ The Outland Ballroom May 12

Opie Hicks and The Elements are re-uniting to do a headline one night only show May 12 at The Outland Ballroom.The Elements were a 4-piece rock/funk/hip-hop band that formed in early 2003. Based out of Springfield Missouri the band quickly gained a local following due to it’s unique sound. The Elements have graced stages throughout the midwest and shared the stage with national acts such as Tech N9ne, Steve Ewing of The Urge, 2 Live Crew, Afroman and The Phunk Junkeez. They also won the 2005 competition of the Missouri Valley College Battle of the Bands. During the summer 2006 they disbanded for various personal reasons.
